Was being adventurous today exploring around my community looking for 4x4 places after I drove home. Well looks like my curiosity and boredom got me into trouble because my SUV is stuck pretty bad in the mud now. Yes, Im pretty stupid...flame on as you wish :(

I need someone with a big capable 4x4 + tow strap to pull me out. I have two small (and stock) recovery hooks on the front frame. Located in the NW around the Kincora/Evanston area. Can give you some money for gas or buy you beer, dinner, etc.. Beyond is my only hope now

Call/text [removed] if you can help. Would really appreciate it. Thanks in advance

Picture of how stuck I am...for your entertainment:

LOL! What does the note on the side of the window say? Hope you get someone to give you a hand. I would help if I lived in the area.

The note says "STUCK" with a unhappy face on it + my number lol.

4x4 lesson of the day: if youre stuck..spinning your wheels will dig you in deeper

You done goofed! I don't think my Cherokee would be able to unstick that.

I'd love to help you man, but I'm pretty sure my Silverado wouldn't be able to get you out. :(

it shouldn't be hard to get that out. Even in this pic all it took was a stock durango

Don't be so ashamed of yourself! I'm not much of an offroader but I'm pretty sure everyone here has been in this situation more than once.

Yeah man, ive done stupider stuff in our Jeep and on my ATV, everyone gets stuck!

Haha yea. It looks like it might rain soon so hoping I can get this taken care of soon.

The sad thing is...if I hadnt spun my wheels I probably couldve thrown on some winter tires on my mom's van and pulled myself out. Im in there pretty good now :banghead:

That doesn't look too bad, even my stock jeep would have yanked it out.

Tow it out with your Talon Troll-ol.

Hamann has offered to help in his Silverado (Thanks!). We're gonna give it a shot and will be heading out in a bit. If you are free to offer feel free to call or text me just incase we dont make it.

Thanks for the terrific responses guys!

I totally would have helped you out, but I don't have towing points on my Grand Cherokee. Good luck - I think you'll be just fine with the extra traction of the Silverado.

It's pretty sweet actually...lots of mud pits and hills/valleys. It also appears to be undeveloped land that's already been stripped, so offroading here isnt going to do any harm to the environment. Also didnt see a single "no tresspassing" sign so I figure it was fair game.

Probably shouldnt tell too many people about this place. Im just worried the residents here might complain. But if anyone ever wants to go for a quick run or something feel free to PM me.

Thats one of my favorite 'fishing' holes

I'm up there weekly pulling some construction worker out of it...

Not quite as good as the hole where 50th used to be, that one is truck eating clay; but a whole lot less messy to hook up.

:D I've been stuck there before haha! There for sure is a no trespassing sign there. It is good fun though

If you are interested in offroading or doing some mild trails, we usually have quite a few runs every summer that you are more than welcome to come on.

Please keep your mudding activities legal, illegal wheeling reflects poorly on all of us who offroad in a responsible fashion.

+1

I don't offroad but I'd just like to add that the above should apply to all truck related activities, a select few make us all look bad. Thank you!
