Parts Technicians

For those in the automotive field but in the Parts Technician side, what is the starting salary range and max salary range one can expect in this field?

Obviously in heavy duty salary will be vastly different than compared to say dealerships/Parts Source/NAPA etc.

Just trying to gauge what to expect

well, one of the guys here started at 18/h with no experience and a good attitude.

i've heard of some guys making upwards of 70-80k per year. i think it really depends on who you work for and your position (front counter, shop counter, wholesale, etc)

Like any professional Journeyman trade it pays well after you've got your time in. And like any professional Journeyman trade when you start out and are new, you will be an underpaid and overworked bitch for the senior guys haha.
