Yayy, it is finally back today. Pretty amusing sofar, up to date story as always which is always nice.

"HumanCentipad"

Kyle is intimately involved in the
development of a revolutionary new product
that is about to be launched by Apple.
Meanwhile, Cartman doesn't even have a
regular iPad yet. He blames his mother.

Nope, 99.99999% sure that was THE final episode of South Park. Coming from someone who has seen EVERY episode of SP, I'm that confident. And in the fine form of Trey and Matt... No they would never declare a final episode, it would just happen.

Reasoning is that Trey and Matt have numerous times noted in interviews that they think their stuff is going to shit. They have even mentioned that they have started to reuse a few ideas, and that slowly it has been starting to look like shit... Which is somewhat true, this season was weak in comparison to others.

Which makes the final episode golden. They made the show shit. They break up Stans parents, Stan is "killed" off. The whole argument between Stans parents is about the show, not about the real world. They are tired of reusing the same shit and it all just starting to look the same.

I'm afraid to say (or kinda happy because I would hate to see SP go the way of The Simpsons)... That's it that's all.

Comedy central is gonna want that 75 million back from matt & trey then. Given that they contracted to produce episodes into 2013...

There's never been any official confirmation that. Even if Matt and Trey agreed to work until 2013, it may not even be South Park, then could make a new TV series.

I'd have to agree with most of what Spoons said. Even while watching, it almost felt like Stans parents arguing were really Matt and Trey, lol.

South Park creators Matt Stone and Trey Parker are contractually obligated to produce at least one more season for Comedy Central. Fourteen episodes will air in 2011, with the trailing seven likely coming in their usual timeslot this fall. This will bring the total number of South Park episodes to 223.

Looks like it is the same as every other season. Seven in the spring, and seven in the fall.
