I was looking at WRX sooner or later and came across this ad on kijiji and was wondering why the seller is asking such a low price. Thoughts or feedback about the car before I make a trip to Red Deer.

For $10k I'd look at it, why not?

Also, you can probably change your avatar... ;)

I don't think it's legit. I sold my car 4 months ago and it's the exact mods I listed that he has listed on his kijiji ad. You can search it up

Something doesn't sound right about that car.

How are you going to have a mod list as long as my arm and never have taken it to a dyno?!:dunno:

Hydra EMS - tuned by Cam at Lightspeed innovations

The car has never been brought to the track, never put on a dyno, and never rat-bagged

I'd probably take a look at it anyways haha. My gut feeling is that something is wrong though.

Here is the ad to my for sale thread:

He pretty much copied and pasted it onto his ad

Doesn't even look like Alberta plate.

Smell of a scam.

Probably a scam or wanted someone to get 5 million phone calls since they posted a phone number as well

The whole front end of the car in pics 1 and 4 is completely different. If its legit, go pick it up and I'll give you $10k for it...:poosie:

Good find.
Also from looking at the pics it's 2 different cars. Front lip and mirrors are different in the first pic.

If you email him, it will turn into - I need a cash deposit ahead of time, or the car is with a friend, pay for shipping and I'll refund the difference.

probably just a douche canoe trying to prank a friend. Hopefully its not someone on here as that is a pretty childish move.

The owner of the car at the time of that article is from washington, I don't think that car would end up in red deer being sold for 10k, even if the engine was blown you could probably get double that by parting it out.

Report the ad as a scam and get that user banned.
