Hi All,
I got a carfax/carproof on a vehicle I am interested in buying and it states it was in an accident.
It list three estimates
$11,XXX
$9,XXX
$1800
The claim was made for $1800.
does this mean there was a $10K+ accident and they only did a $1800 fix or is the insurance company obligated to bring the car back up to spec. and $1800 was sufficient to do so (the shops were inflating the estimates to make a profit).
