I'm getting a custom box made for my truck. Mounting depth of the sub will be 6 inches max. What I'm looking for is decent sub suggestions, that are 10" and that can handle 500w. I was looking at the Alpine Type S. Are there others that I should be considering?

Box volume will be .65 cu. ft. So something that works with that would be great.

Alpine Type R slims. Awesome power handling. Very loud. Take abuse.

Pioneer slims. Great bang for the buck. Very musical. Decently loud.

Kicker CVT's. Decent thin sub. Do not overpower for the thing will fuse, does not take abuse very well.

JLW1's. Always loved these subs. Would recommend them to anyone. Will take 250 watts easily and not only are they very rad for SQ but also will hit very loud and can take abuse. Best part. Inexpensive price tag. I do these in truck systems more than anything.

Thank you. Very concise descriptions. Of the list, I'm interested in the JL W1's. I like the look, and the price, haha.

Other opinions?
