was going to say no rust = how the hell... but the license plate frame says it all. that's where you find the best shape classic Zs, parked in some shed in the dry dry desert

No the L28 belongs in it; though I personally wouldn't object to a turbo'd version :D

there's at least one 1972 240Z in town with an RB26DETT.

that would be teh sex, swap would be pretty straight forward I would think (mckinney sells essentially everything you could ever need- think I priced it at around 8-9k with cost of engine).

I've seen a couple SR swaps and they seem like a waste, although you save a bit of weight and you get a good weight distribution as the SR sits very far back, that big gaping engine bay just begs for a rb 25/26 and it would be a shame to insult it with an SR :) .

I do agree though the L28-t would be a great compliment to an already great car!

it's a REALLY tight fit..the one I've seen required a bunch of modifications to the hood latch to make it work.

It should be pretty quick when it's done though...with the old motor in it it weighed south of 1600 lbs, and it had so much chassis and suspension work that when you jacked it up to change a tire 3 wheels came off the ground.

I can smell the interior right now, anyone who has owned a 70's Datsun knows what I am talking about. Beautiful car, great spot bluedragon.
