So I have been having some steering shake recently. I found the problem to be a loose inner tie rod on the driver side. I can see the inner tie rod moving in and out of the rubber boot when I push on the 3 and 9 oclock positions on the tire. Thing is both inner and outer tie rods were replaced by the previous owner in 2008 around 20 - 30 k km ago (have receipt). Is it alright to just replace that inner tie rod on the driver side or if I am getting it fixed should I just get the outer tie rod end replaced as well. Lastly should I replace the passenger side too? If it had been a long time ago I would understand changing both sides, but since they were changed recently is there any point?
