So, today we have our apartments annual parking lot cleaning and they had asked for all personal property and cars to be removed from the parking lot. If we did not comply we would be towed/ ticketed (seems like entrapment, lol). So I parked in the only spot where I could without interfering with the school buses as they never pull up that far and guess what I got a ticket. Yes I know I parked where I shouldn't but what else was I supposed to do? Any chance I could get out of paying these tickets?

Here's a pic of where I parked (purple Subaru)

You parked less than 5 meter from an exit or a corner, i think those are the rules, so don't know how you expect not to get a ticket, or to get out of it.

I know it sucks when they do this, but usually you get plenty of notice to move your car somewhere else, like a friends place, parents place ect. Thats what I used to do when I lived in a condo.

^ Exactly right... you're too close to the driveway.

By the way - the masking tape does little to... "mask" your info.

Also, can see through the tape and read your plate number/everything else

Edit: Too slow!

umm he's not the white cavalier he's the subie across the street?:dunno:

Shitty about the ticket. I was actually pretty impressed with the guys that did our lot this year. We got the heads up letter and most cars were gone when they were there working, the ones that weren't... they just used leaf blowers to get the gravel out from underneath. Worked pretty good. A little potential for shit getting kicked up at your car if you didn't move it, but I figure that's fair for being a dbag and not moving your shit.

shouldve just taken down that no parking sign 'temporarily':poosie:

It's just a piss off to wake up first thing in the morning to see a ticket on your window when there was no where else to park within a reasonable distance.

You live in Varsity right? That is Jerry Pots? I grew up a couple blocks from there. It isnt like the parking around there is too difficult. Also the weather isnt that bad so why not park on another street or even at Market Mall?

What does that no parking sign right at the front of your car say?

In ur last pic it seems like there is more than enough distance, was it a no parking zone on that side of the street?

Hes parked pretty much directly under the no parking sign. Most likely the condo board had CPA there to ticket the people still in the lot during cleaning and the nabbed him as a bonus on the way out.

He also admitted that he knew full well he was in the worng but decided to park there anyways.

Pay the ticket.

Doesn't matter how far the school bus pulls up, it's no parking from 0700-1700. They are reserved for kids drop off/pick up as well.

Pay your ticket.

CPA rules all. You are SOL my friend.

I once got a ticket outside of my house because I forgot to display the parking pass lol

I told them, what if I was able to prove that this car is registered to this address written on the ticket? Nope. I hate them. :guns:
