When I was a kid in french immersion they made us read this fucking dreck all the time and it was tortuous. I'm not even sure if Moffat can save this for me.

It's like being water-boarded with Kool-Aid. No matter how good the Kool-Aid is after that, it's never going to be good enough to overcome that horrible experience you had with it...
