Seeing if there's any interest in my old F20 engine. It was running when I pulled it out of my car but there was an odd sound coming out of it and there were some occasional puffs of smoke coming out.
It was boosted and I haven't taken it apart and to be honest, I can't be bothered. From the looks of it, it was oil starvation that killed it. It had about 130 K on it and it is pretty complete. A few things were swapped over to the new engine such as the fuel rail and the oil pan. It is pretty much complete but would most likely need a rebuild. I'm pretty sure the head is still in great shape.
This would be awesome for someone looking to have a sleeved rebuilt engine or a spare he is looking to rebuild.
I've dropped the price to $800 obo picked up for this so let me know. I don't have photos and the engine is at a mate's shop at the moment. Buyer would have to come pick up and the motor does not come with the header or the coil packs.
