Hey guys, i am trying to gain weight and its very hard for me to do so. I tried and tried but never continued but now im hoping to start new and for summer to make some progress.

I'm a pretty small guy and skinny, runs in the family for me. I know its hard for me to gain weight but i want to try my hardest. Is there any tips from someone who has similar experiences?

I know alot goes into the food that you eat daily, and the amount you eat. I am also gluten intolerance, i don't know if thats giving me an advantage to consume more meats, etc or a disadvantage.

Also especially with summer coming, i am able to spend more time doing heavy work outs and exercise more.

I am hoping someone can help guide me more within the right steps!

Lift heavy, eat lots.

Try 5 x 5, focus on getting enough calories to meet/exceed your BMR.

Eat all the time.

I know it sounds silly, but obviously the more calories you eat, the quicker you stand to gain weight. This doesn't mean go eat 10 cheeseburgers, but constantly eat healthy meals and healthy snack foods.

If you want to gain SIZE and WEIGHT look for a good hypertrophy workout. This will help you get big but also stay super lean. That and eat alot.

I have the same body type as you, my advice look at the scale every month and a half at the same time of day.
Eat alot and get the blood pumping into your muscles with high amounts of volume.

^^

Go to Safeway and buy Lactate. Lactate is 99% lactose free milk in the blue carton. You could also go to Co-op and buy lactose free chocolate milk.

The green carton is skim and tastes just fine.

Lactose intolerance and dairy allergies have some common symptoms. If you are allergic to dairy products lactase pills and lactose reduced dairy products won't help at all.
