So its a 97 Civic Si. Auto. One of the belts was squeeking so I changed all three (A/C, P/S, and alternator all have their own belts). Now the car sometimes shakes and vibrates at idle. And yes I tightened all the belts nice and tight. It shook sometimes before, but now it's worse. Any ideas? It's not my car, so I'm just going by what was described to me as "shaking at idle". I haven't yet experienced it because it didn't shake when I drove it.
The only things I could think of related to the belt change are that I noticed the pulley attached to the crankshaft seems to vibrate a bit on its axis. And I had to unbolt the engine torque mount in order to remove the belts and I noticed that the rubber was starting to deteriorate a little. I don't know if these things would cause it or not.
