I like these, more so when I was a kid, but now...alright. I saw one in Calgary a couple weeks ago, no pics though. I drove passed it.

It's a car design in the 70s and 80s. Can't expect much.

Even if performance sucks, I would rock this being a child of the 80s.

Hell yes. I would abuse the hell out of the phrase "When this baby hits 88 MPH, you're gonna see some shit".

They are rebuilding the same damn car? Why not just do a DeLorean 2.0 ?

I forgot about the Okotoks collector car auction today, there was a Delorean selling there. Notice how the speedo max is 85mph, would have been interesting to see what it sold for.

this was due to US law at the time (see 1973 oil crisis/national 55mph speed limit and 1979(?) mandate for all vehicles to have a maximum indicated speed of 85mph) , the top speed of the delorean is actually quite a bit higher than that, I believe it was thought to be just over 130mph

On the new ones you can have a realistic 85mpg speedo or buy a new 140mph speedo.

The money they want to bring the car to a paltry 198 HP is a bit retarded. That said, it only weighs 2,712 lbs with a full tank of fuel.

I would if it comes with a suitcase full of cocaine.

I saw it go through the auction and I believe it sold for $24,000 which would be $26400 after buyers premium and taxes.

Website looks like it was made by a 9 year old. I love how the total price field is editable.
