So, I was just sitting here reviewing my empty wallet, and I started thinkin about how much money I could have, if I didn't have such expensive hobbies.

When I had a car in the past it was expensive and it will be again when I get another car. But other than a car being one of my expensive hobbies, I also have DJing, which is HARSH on the wallet when it comes to buying records. And I am also a HUGE skier, and that is costing me money this year aswell, and it still will be seeing as I still gotta get new bindings for the planks, new backpack, new goggles, and a new helmet.

And unforetuneately right now with goin to school and shit I ain't got a job to satisfy my "needs" ;) ... ok so maybe they are wants, but to me they are needs for me to be happy.. lol :D

So, what are all your expensive hobbies other than your Cars??

Cheers.:)

I can only afford one expensive hobby at once, so I had to give up everything but my car:banghead:
Before I had a car I used to snowboard haha.

FAWK. Rally racing. many grand a year. many. too many. now that im out of a car it will be even more... yike!!! My street car isnt even modded cause money went to racing... by far the most bling sucking thing i do.

EDIT: 1 more. I love to travel. That is very pricy! I backpacked around peru, but it still ran about 1500... (1000 for the damn flight!)

I was on a big drum kick, i spent close to ten grand on my drum set. But now I have everything I want for it (well, for a little while anyway).
Buying movies and CDs adds up pretty quick.
So does my taste for hookers and blow.

bicycle riding (i spent close to 7 grand last year)
It cost alot to buy a hardtail and a bighit, while also paying insurance on them, cost of COP, pads, helmits, race registration, reefer, when parts break, and do they ever, its big bucks.

I broke 2 forks, that was 700$ in total. :whipped:

 :banghead: :thumbsdow

Yea I have two cheap hobbies...

Golf - I bought two new clubs last year that cost me a grand and I played about 40 time at $50 a pop another $2000!

Photography - I got the Digital Rebel back in October which was supposed to say me for film costs, but I have bought lens, upgraded my computer, photo development and the GF like's the pictures so i have to keep putting money into framing now! :banghead: I figure I have spent close to another $3500 since this past September.

To top it off I'm getting married this coming August and we are buying a new townhouse in which the prosession date is ten days after my wedding (so much for Golf this year)!

Going to school and living in New York City is the most expensive hobby... based on my rent I could have put a payment down for a house, car, boat, and other of life's great luxuries.
