Hey,

Does anyone know of any good headhunters for geoscientists in australia?

Cheers!

What sector are you looking for? There are plenty of mining and oil/gas worldwide job posting boards but I'm not sure of any specifics in Australia.

Don't want to take over your thread, but I'd like to know a good headhunter for the O&G Calgary area

Geophysics in particular, hence why I mentioned Geoscience.

I'm looking for a private headhunter, would make the distance much shorter.

Sector = oil/gas vs. mining, not your discipline - Geology vs. Geoscience vs. Geophysics.

As for someone specific, again I don't know anyone in Australia.

Check infomining and infooil for job postings.

I'm not sure how in line with your search this may be, but there's the big global petroleum career expo taking place next week at the roundup center. It's free and I've got a few buddies who are heading down there:

wife used to work for QGC (queensland gas co). she's a geophysicist too. they hire internationaly, so check out there website for openings.

australian employers love it if you're from canada. they know we're hard workers, while the aussies are a bit more laid back ;)

Buy a plane ticket to Karratha or Port Hedland in west australia. Hedlands a shithole but Karrathas ok. You will be making outrageous money by the end of the week. Tons of mining in hard rocks on land or o/g mostly offshore. Take your pick, make $$$.
Try pluto, theyre building a massive new gas plant on the burrup peninsula, also apache, woodbine, etc.
