View Full Version : Roadblock on my street

Just found this interesting. Perhaps odd. Just up my street I see this:

I see no signs. No "official" reasoning for this. If it is a prank, I am surprised someone was able to put this together without anyone noticing. Very odd.

That is all.

It's gotta be a prank.
Way to organized and built too quick to be city workers.

Ha, they ran out of money for casting so that's Rob Cohen, the director as the pizza guy.

That's definitely a prank, the city has guidelines to follow when closing a road and that's fail.

I certainly didn't think it was the city. They would have their own "professional" barriers. I thought though that perhaps it was the company doing landscaping two doors up from me, as they have had piles of sand and bricks in the road for the last 3 weeks.

I heard someone out there dismantling this about an hour after my initial post last night.

Almost looks like a makeshift Native-type roadblock....how close to the Tsuu-Tina nation are you?

It is obviously a prank, look at it, what kind of company would just take peoples garbage bins and use them to block a road?

lol.. wow. Modelexis' edit looks so different compared to the original picture. Wtf kind of monitor are you running?

Modelexis

It looks like that because it's been shot with a camera that wasn't capable of shooting a proper low light image with any amount of information contained.

I went beyond the threshold that the image is capable of showing in terms of brightness, and you are left with what you see.

The original image was pixelated and poorly shot, but you just couldn't tell because it was a black square.

Also, monitor brightness isn't going to reveal details in the image that were completely lost due to under exposure.

Holy shit... leave the thread for a day and this is what happens. That's awesome Maybelater!

Modelexis: They are snapshots - not photographs. As long as it was bright enough for people to see (and apparently all but you could) that was enough for me. Didn't know I was required to set up a photo shoot...
