Is it bad for the engine if there are more engine oil than what is normally needed?? Like if I fill up oil and the dipstick reads more than FULL????

Depends how much you overfilled....

If you overfill too much, the engine oil can create a froth and will not properly coat and protect the parts that require oil.

If you're completely off the dipstick range for MAX then you should drain a bit....

and if you need to refill... $50 of oil costs a heck of a lot less than a $2000 engine rebuild.

Also over filling the engine oil can cause gaskets to blow due to the increase in pressure. Did it to my parents old honda...caused engine to overheat and crack head...not a good thing. :thumbsdow
