or
toyotas black top beams engine turbo

its going into an is300, i am curious if anyone had any inputs or opinions they like to input. i am having a hard time choosing between the two.
and if anyone has a great source to get these engines let me know. jdm source and jdm tuners i already know. maybe a toyota guru will know more.

With a 2j it would be a great highway/drag car and the swap is easy since the car already comes with a 2j. Parts are also a lot easy to come about. The IS300 has always been nose heavy with understeer and the 2jgte makes even worse. With that being said parts are expensive and hard to find for the beams. The swap is not easy but it's a better engine for the car. At the end of the day I like to make things easy so I'd go 2j.

no such thing as dual VVTi in a 2JZ-GTE. VVTi has a variable intake cam.

Be ready to deal with throttle closure issue from drive by wire, if you do a VVTi swap.

I would suggest the regular non vvti engine out of the Supra or Aristo.
