A test for fun

Today was my first day trying to shoot with two bodies. Just for fun, take some guesses about which are with the D3s and which are with the D300. I've done my best not to stack the deck for either camera, see if anyone can go 10 for 10 :poosie:

Hehe. No. If someone gets all 10 I'll give them a print or something :-P

Impossible to tell for sure, the D300 is the go-to camera for a lot of sports photographers. It doesn't perform a lot differently than the D3s in the AF department. I'd guess 4, 7 and 10 were with the D3s just because of the really shallow DOF but I don't know the apertures of all the shots so even that isn't a good way to guess :). A lot of people just have the D3s on 1 shoulder, and a D300 on the other - best of both worlds.

the auto focus on the D300 is very good, but not on par with the D3s in terms of tracking movement, and on saturday the light was less than great, the D3s was really a star in those conditions.

I picked mine going exclusively by crop factor.
