With all the good advice from the Incorporating thread, I thought I would ask what everyone is using to track their time. Ideally I would be looking for something that would work with an iPhone and then sync to a desktop app. I don't need anything too robust, just something I can add clients to in Windows, sync to an iPhone and then track the time, the work completed and then some notes. Also, the ability to summarize the hours worked at various intervals would be a bonus.

i have Hourstracker, its not bad i used it at my old job because they never could get my hours correct. You cant sync it to the computer but you can email yourself from the phone with whatever info you need.

.csv format? Emailing to yourself would be fine if you could edit it in Excel. I'll go have a look, thanks.

you can edit by, date range, export jobs and other features. its good because they update the app pretty often.

If you can't afford replicon... haha

Then I would either use the calendar app that sync back to google calendar in your gmail, or use google apps spreadsheets. That is what I use. A little cumbersome on the phone, but it still works. Stored in the "cloud!"

Lol @ replicon. Ask for the beyonder deal. Probably 100% markup.

We use replicon at work for our field guys and they seem to like it. Our office staff uses SAP. The other system was called EZ Time. Not so easy but works with iphone/BB.

It's $16/month for a single user license. That's pretty cheap!

What don't you like about it?

I am at a client who uses this, and there are a couple of small things I don't care for, like how small the comment field is. I'm sure you can populate it with a lot of text, but the box is small. Otherwise it does its job.

Damn, want to pass a discount onto us!

Just signed an annual cheque that was almost a 1000x that :)
