Find an exhaust kit with a resonator. Or add one to your current setup. It will give you a deeper tone.

Go Remus with like 2.25 or 2.5 inch piping to your cat. converter. Take the resinator out too.

thanks for all your help guys. but will the resonator give me a deeper sound or just make it quieter? we took it out on my dad's old school benz and it just got a bit louder, without much change in tone. so should i find a system with or w/o one?

If you got the money, get one of these.

Invidia sounds really nice. We've done quite a few. But to tell you the truth for your car all the cat-back's sound pretty good. It's when you just buy a universal muffler and do straight piping from the header back is when it's too loud and can also sound like a tin can.
