I snagged myself this beauty a little while back. Shes a 1983 Mercedes 380 SEC with a little over 175400k on her, all factory. This model was one of the first to have heated seats so that just makes it a little cooler :D. I got it off the second owner in Kelowna and shipped it over. The interior is ridiculously clean and all factory too. I don't have too many pictures yet, but I will get some better ones soon so let me know what you guys think!

That small rip on the front of the seat is the only crack/rip anywhere in the car, and its just the stitching so it shouldn't be really hard to fix.

I love these cars! Beautiful!! Dark Blue on Grey amazing!

These engines did have a problem with how the timing chain was designed though, by now I am sure it has been changed to a double row, but maybe take a look for good measure.

Enjoy your classy new ride, if its nice outside, you must ride windows down all around (the car is pillar-less, so it is a rule!):D

:werd: Another rule is, you must get rid of those FUGLY north american headlights and slap some euro headlights on it!

these are nice cars. I had a W126 Diesel euro model and my neibor had the NA model the euro setup is much better.

also looks like you need a new control switch for your power seats on the passenger side.

I need one for the drivers side too, but the car did need some work when I picked her up such as a passenger window motor. The engine was re-built in 1989 because of the timing chain issue so I'm not overly concerned about that. I think the paperwork for it came with the car too haha

Your right, nothing to be worried about, allot of Mercedes dealers did it as a "goodwill" service on the 380 Motors (out of warranty) - acknowledged their defect in the timing chain design. MB was a bit different back then haha!

I agree with G-Zus, if you can source some Euro headlights for the car, it really improves the look dramatically. The only "modification" that needs to be done.

Enjoy the car, hope to see it at some of the Beyond cruises!

thanks guys! the euro headlights are way better than NA, and if I can get some wipers on them that would be :bigpimp: haha. in the meantime I'm going to fix a couple of small dents and a couple of interior pieces.
