I am using the nexstar 114GT! Haha!! 25mm stacked on a 3X barlow produced that crappy, out of focus image. But it's me best yet;)
I'd love to see the images you can make with the 11GPS:drool:

I see that you post on Cloudy Nights once in a while! That N11GPS is gonna be freakin' awesome! EG Stylz and I both have N114GTs as well. With any luck our Scopetronix adapters will come in this week so we can start taking more pictures without having to hold the damn camera up to the eyepiece! Won't be able to upgrade our scopes until the end of the year (hopefully).

The raccoon LOVES Peanuts haha, I could lure him in no problem...there was no zoom on that picture, he was about 8" from the cam, haha

I dont have any other lens for my 300D yet...just the one it comes with, 18-55mm.

I used the following modes:
F Number F/5.6
Focal Length 51 mm
ISO Speed 100

Lets get together sometime and discuss.

I think I'd have to borrow it for a year or so to see if I really liked it..............:D Actually IS is just too expensive of an option for me right now, except for the 28-135mm IS, which might be a good all around lens.

The minimum for me would be the 70-200L F4. The only problem is that I'd probably want more reach, in which case I should get the F2.8 and a 1.4x or 2x teleconverter and still be able to shoot reasonable fast. OR the 100-300L F4.

I like the 70-200L F4's compactness though.
There's some good deals in Ebay for 2.8's that look to be in better condition then the used $1300 ones at The Camera Store.

After using a $500 Sigma 28-300mm for 2 weeks, I've found it to be inconsistant and not especially sharp.

Yeah I started with a 70-200 F4 and within 2 weeks I took it back and payed the extra $1500 to upgrade to the f 2.8...there was NO quality when it came to any quick motion photography because the apperture wouldn't open up as big as I needed it (at the time I was working on hockey stuff and some car stuff) So I had to go for the IS and all the other stuff...ended up costing the big bucks right away but it's paid off for me and probably save me in the long run

Can you let me know what this deal is as well. I bought the 50mm f1.8 and then I bought Sigma 75-300mm APO for a cheaper telephoto. The Sigma is just ok, but I would like to upgrade to a canon 70-200 f4 or f2.8 (if the money is there). I am also despretly needing a flash for my setup. The onboard for the 300D is too inconsistant and too low powered.

It does taste good, weird but good. I'd describe it as a cross between garlic and candy (I said weird :P).

But it really does smell awful. It smells like a natural gas leak :barf:
