Infiniti FX35/45

Hey guys,

I am currently entertaining the idea of trading/selling my vehicle for a pre-owned '03-'06 FX35/45 (if you have any other semi-fun larger cars/SUV ideas, please do mention). I am leaning towards the V6 but have yet to drive the V8. Two models I am looking at in particular is a '03 FX35 w/ 100,XXXkm. I am pretty sure it is the non tech package, black on brick. The other is a '05 FX45 Full load? (US vehicle,has navi but thought these came with DVD in '05?) has 80,XXX miles, white on grey. Any information to aid my process is very much appreciated. And just for conversation sake, I am looking at Acura MDX's as well...help me narrow down my search with your wisdom Beyonders! FX Owners please voice your criticisms!

MDX is a much better car, but the FX has much more personality and performance. I adore the 45 but would probably go for the 35 due to fuel economy. Most 45's that I see get about 13-15L/100km which is a tad high for my liking.

The FX is a true sports SUV and is a great cruiser.

I believe the 03 FX35 is AWD whereas the USA FX45 is RWD. USA offered the FX's in AWD and RWD so make sure to look out for that.

I haven't owned any of the SUVs mentioned but from research and what other others have said the FX35 isn't particularly roomy inside. The FX do handle well and are more aggressive and thirsty. They are more sporty than the MDX. Personally i really like the MDX if you don't mind the size.
