What are my options of getting rid of my broken car?

2002 Suzuki Aerio Sx.

Either Tranny or Gear Shift or something snapped in gear box (stuck in 4th gear). Engine's fine etc.

Always had problem with this car though so I'm moving on and I had quotes of up to 2k to fix it ><.

Do I donate it? or part it out? or sell it to a junk yard?

You want to throw a 2002 vehicle in the garbage because it's going to cost 2k$ to fix?

Are you planning on buying a new vehicle instead?

Isn't that going to cost more than 2k$?

I gave up on it, it wasn't the only problem on it, and it would cost more to fix than its worth, looking for a new car around the 20k range

He said it will cost 2g just to get it running again, who know how long it will last before another break down, and it's a suzuki so really it's not that absurd. A mint one goes for what like $3000?

You can also get people on Kijiji to remove it for free, they take the money they get from it at the scrap yard instead. Donating it to charity is obviously the more caring idea though.

I say give it to the kidney foundation. But sometimes they're a PITA to deal with.

Was trying to get them to take a 88 mustang for over 6 months and they never showed up and wouldn't return calls. Then I called them to take a 2000 venture, showed up 3 days later. I told the guy he had to take both or none, so he did.

Tax credit stinks though, got $60 for 2 cars.
