http://www.sait.ab.ca/calendars/daycalendar/courses/apt.htm

I'm condsidering taking it, but I'd have to upgrade my chem first.

The good thing is after 2 years, I could either stop there and get an ok job, or go to montana and become a Petroleum Engineer.

Does anyone know anyone who's done this?

I know there is a high demand for petrolioum engineers right now.

Its a good program man... my dad takes graduates from that program all the time. Highly needed in Calgary.

One of the highest paying fields through sait, yet there's still room in the program right now....also one of the hardest courses.

Petroleum Engineer is not a Petroleum Engineering Technologist - there is a HUGE difference.

As I mentioned in the original post, after 2 years at SAIT, I'd have the option to go to Montana for 2 more years and become a Pertoleum Engineer.

I've contacted SAIT and there are at least 3 courses that I've already taken there that they'd give me credit for in Petroleum Tech.

I've also contacted the Montana place and they only require a 2.0 GPA to get in, sometimes even lower. I certainly hope that mine would be better then that by the time I apply.
