clarkson loved the 1m.. faster than an m3 around the track, so i can almost guarantee it will beat the boss302 here in calgary for the same money ~55 grand according to the auto show

except a boss is easily brought to canada from the US for 43,465 and much cheaper to maintain for track duty than a 1m

ya you can get a bos302 with sports seats for 43k, but you plan on leaving it down there? add a few grand to that for sure. I'm not sure how easy it is to use the waranty across the border either, i know some companies make it a PITA.

American cars don't hold their value compared to canadian cars, and i;m sure the stang will depreciate like one'add the fact the 1m is a limited production run and I'm sure the resale on the bmw in 5 years will be much higher.

how is cheaper to maintain? :dunno:

I do aswell. From a design standpoint, it is probably one of my favorite cars. Pretty neat episode though with the marauder, rally car and jag. 1M is quite quick aswell, I was impressed so I began searching auto trader for 135i's :rofl:

I do have invites though to a private tracker for getting items such as this in hd in about 10~ minutes, but you must maintain a ratio (You start off with a decent ratio, then must maintain I think like 0.6 and hd ones give you a higher ratio if anyone wants that.

Top Gear Season 17 Episode 2 airs today, Sunday July 3rd 2011 on BBC2 and BBC HD at 8pm GMT. In this new second episode of season 17 Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May are in Italy to take part in a series of tricky challenges and increasingly loud arguments as they attempt to find the world’s best hot hatchback. With Clarkson in the Citroen DS3 Racing, Hammond championing the Fiat 500C Abarth and May making the case for the Renault Clio Cup, the trio attempt to navigate their way around baffling Italian towns and take part in a scavenger hunt before heading up to Monte Carlo where they’re faced with a surprise test of their cars’ performance.

The Top Gear boys had been spotted in Italy already when shooting the scenes for Top Gear Season 17 Episode 2 in a small Italian village.

Also in Top Gear Season 17 Episode 2: James May is out on track with the Aston Martin Virage and puts it up against the Aston Martin DBS and Aston Martin DB9. Jeremy is out on the track in the McLaren MP4-12C supercar, while petrolhead comedian Ross Noble is the star in the Reasonably Priced Car. The technology on that car is pretty amazing though. Can't say I would choose it over hte 458 though.

Awesome that they had the aventador for this episode as that thing is awesome and super fast, thinking they tested the mp4-12c on that track and tuned it accordingly, the lambo could probably take it otherwise. Them ripping into the black edition was quite amusing aswell. The electric car segment was neat though to see how those cars function but I do suppose it would be better suited to a more compact place such as england as here, the long distances and cold temperatures would sure take a toll on the cars. (Is that peugot though just a version of the mitsu as it looked very similar?) Then the offroad segment was neat to see that those guys don't let their disabilities get in the way and stayed very competitive so hopefully they do make it to dakar like hakk said tl;dr

I feel the same way about this India Special after I watched it as I did after I saw the Top Ground Gear Force Special... there's 88 minutes of my life that I'll never get back.

It has it's moments, no doubt... but most of the soundtrack has been recycled from previous episodes. It needed more car stuff! Challenges!

It's still better than no Top Gear, no matter how you slice it! :P
