They are never from a Canadian supplier and are always shipped from the US or Asia.

The Canadian sites are generally just the front pages, but the transaction is completed elsewhere.

A friend of mine runs an e-cig site and while it looks Canadian, there is nothing Canadian about it. He would love to stock his own merchandise because his profits would be much better, however he knows that any bulk orders would be stopped at the border.

They were selling them at the tobacco store in Airdrie, so I don't see why it would be an issue to get them through customs.

From what I heard, the ones you can buy locally don't contain nicotine, as these devices haven't been approved by the government. I just ordered 2 e-sigs, 20 mid nicotine, 20 high nicotine, and I think 15 that come with the sigs, all for like 20 bucks from dealextreme. Can post an update after my dad tries them. Pretty good reviews on dealextreme

Pretty sure the convenience store in Centennial place is selling them. By Eau Claire. They have posters up for the darned things. I should tell them they can't be sold here.

They get through fine, no issues at all. But if you don't wanna go through all the hassle I have 5-6 from an order and some refills left that i'll sell you.

Know the southern AB distributor for Janty products (at least i think that is the brand he is still selling, he may have changed suppliers) he sells the starter kits, extra batteries, chargers, the juice (with nicotene content)

Contact Travis Gerlitz at 403-702-3244 if you want to buy local. He will even meet up with you to explain how it works, proper maintenance, etc.

He sells the good ones that last, not the junk you sometimes gamble with when ordering online.
