If anyone is still looking for Canada Day fireworks, the Petro-Canada in Cremona (north of Cochrane) is all stocked up. I know what a pain it is to find these, But it just wouldn't be Canada Day camping without it. :)

You'll never be able to buy "really big ones" in Canada unless you bring them in from the states (which, AFAIK, is virtually impossible).

My buddy is a distributor, from what I understand, there is only one or two fireworks companies in Canada and the gov is very strict with them.

Personally, I find the 20-30 shot super roman candles to be the best. We spent about $250 all said and done on fireworks, had an epic show friday night with 5 25+ shot boxes of exploding flashing goodness and two single shot super mothers. Then, we had like 80 roman candles between three people to do whatever we wanted with :guns:
