Who in town sells diecast model cars & trucks? I'm specifically after an early 1970's Chev truck.

ebay. Even though they aren't "in town" I think it's your best bet if you are lookign for something specific.

Ebay or Amazon. I bought my bro a bunch of impossible to find 1/18 scale ones. The guys around here said they stopped making some of them XX years ago. Went on ebay and it was en route to Calgary the next day for as little shipped as they would have cost after tax each under normal pricing.

i'm pretty sure PM sells those older 1:18 70s trucks, im certain i saw some in the diecast isle but they're quite expensive, i have tons of 1:18s and some are 60s-70s euro and japanese by Maisto and Bburago (also by Maisto), but they stopped making that kinda old stuff a few years ago as said above, now its just newer stuff. Basically find a place that sells AutoArt models and youd probably be able to find the old car models.

if you're lucky there is this one company that only makes old american muscle car and truck models in 1:18 die cast that i remember seeing, was at wally world or superstore, can't remember

edit: iirc chinook hobby had some old diecast stuff when i was there a few months ago

You might be in luck at PM, last time I was there it was pretty much only domestics with a light smattering of Euro and very few Japanese models.

But eBay is excellent as well, I've bought three four-door Nissan Skyline models (pretty rare) through sellers on there.

Some of these are sought after collectibles such as Franklin Mint and the one I mentioned. Masked Bandit was specific in his request so I thought maybe.:dunno:

Sorry for the confusion.
