The E-P3, E-PL3, and E-PM1 to be released August this year.
The most interesting part to me being the E-P3 with a claimed world's fastest autofocus.

Now if only they made high grade and super high grade for the PEN series :D

No link provided as I'm sure Olympus is not a sponsor..., but do go look it up online!

Talks about AF. I also assume he might be reviewing pre-production sample?

hmm...

not quite what I had in mind for high grade glass on the PEN, but it's a start. I was hoping for something more in the standard zoom / prime range with weatherproofing.

F2??? c'mon!!! At least F/1.4 and we'd be talking.

Getting closer to a high grade spec'd glass and body.

Still not quite there though, the weather sealing sounds good, but another part of the alure of Olympus HG and SHG is HG usually has variable max aperature, but often around f2.8-3.5 pretty damn good for a zoom < ~$1000. While SHG usually have a constant f2.0 max aperature. So this lens in 4/3 terms is somewhere between the standard line and HG, but no where near SHG.

Great news that there'll be a weather sealed m4/3 body on the horizon, but I think I'll be sitting this lens out until the specs get more interesting and there's a weather sealed body to go with it. I'd be happy with a weather sealed pancake prime to maintain smallness.

Is the panny 7-14 not weather sealed?

I'm not 100% sure on that, but I don't think so. I couldn't find any mention of it in its marketing materials and looking at the picture found here:

http://www.dpreview.com/lensreviews/panasonic_7-14_4_o20/page2.asp

It doesn't appear to have the telltale rubber elastic like ring on where the mount mates with the body.

http://a.img-dpreview.com/lensreviews/olympus_12-60_2p8-4_o20/Images/mount.jpg

It's the round black ring around the metal mount.

The one on the mount is just one of the seals. When turning the zoom, you can usually feel/hear the whoooosh of air on weather / dust sealed lenses too.

expanding upon this, are any of the m4/3 body/lens combinations that are weather-sealed?

Not currently, but this lens signals that they're coming.

I sure hope one comes I would love that. I would love to see panny make a 45-55mm 1.4 with ois and a newer 20mm that has faster AF

Yes!!

http://www.dpreview.com/previews/olympusEM5/

New weather sealed metal body, and new MMF 4/3 adapter with weather sealing. I think I'll trade-in the E-PL1 once a proper weather sealed fast high grade m4/3 lens comes out as my light walkaround companion to the E-3.

Great looking camera, but no built in flash is a deal breaker for me, even though I have a fl36r. Maybe the ep4 will have the same sensor and stabilization:thumbsup: One thing that kills me though is Olympus menus are so much harder to navigate that Panasonics. I wish Panasonic had in body stabilization like Olympus, or Oly would chance their menus.
