Jewelry store recommendation for custom ring please.

Where is your guys`favorite stores for diamond rings.

My wife doesn`t wear her engagement ring (just her wedding ring) because she is scared the diamond will fall off like it did years before because it is set so high. When it fell off we got a new one put on and then found the lost one. So now years later we want to lower the diamond have the other one put in and add a band to each side.

We looked at all the ones in the malls and Ben Moss seems to be the most helpfull anyways.

Any suggestions.

I have only had one custom ring done and it was by Michael Hill Jewelers. Long story but overall very pleased and happy with the service and quality.

Go to Intergem Labs (http://www.intergemlabs.com/). Located in Bridgeland and in service for 30 years. I've used them and they're great. It's not a store - so make an appointment. It's run by a couple gemologists and a goldsmith.

I got my wedding band there and they did great work. Plus they can make you anything you want on-site (or source any stone you want to any spec).

Custom made my wedding ring and wife's ring. Guy is awesome, does great work. Sat down and spent a lot of time with wife to design her ring from scratch using a diamond she already had as the center focus as it had sentimental value to her.

Also, resized my ring for free over a year after we bought it.

Other couples we know that have gone there have had positive experiences as well.

As far as I know still run by him, his wife and 1-2 apprentices.
