I didn't go there my self, so I didnt write a review, but from what my friend told me (they went yesterday and from the link above, they should have been closed down more then 2 weeks ago) the food sucked and over priced, be warned.

Yet the health inspection on 27 June 2011 shows no violations

Did you even read the document? Basically they were functioning as a restaurant without a valid permit.

Hardly that frightening.

Well consider they are a Sushi restaurant, there may be a freshness issue if stock stay in freezer for too long.

Wonder who want them to fail to have this issue spread around.

Never been there, Kinjo in Dalhousie is kinda my new favorite sushi place in the NW.

quick review

- food is pricey
- the food itself it not that great for the amount you're paying
- really slow service – the server took 10 mins to bring us a menu and totally forgot about us for another 20 mins
- took almost 45 mins to get my appetizer after we ordered and another 20-30 for our mains
- depending where you are sitting, you could get blinded by the sun when someone comes in
