Hi guys,

Am I the only one who constantly has crashes on beyond.ca using IE9 and Windows 7. This is happening on my personal computer at home, and at work on the same setup. It is annoying at it will crash and then have to press a button to recover...and most of the times it recovers, but other times, it just bombs and I have to open IE all over again.

It's annoying to say the least.

No probs here. Maybe your browser has a plug-in that's killing it?

disable all your addins and it will probably work flawlessly, then enable them one at a time and see what one kills it.

eBlend,

You're not the only one - I dont have any add-ins enabled at home, but I get frequent IE crashes on beyond when opening multiple tabs as well.

2 week old install of windows 7 /w IE 9, but will try SP1 tonight, I saw it was outstanding on my updates list.

why would you use IE in the first place? Shittiest browser ever.

This.

Use Firefox or Chrome with Adblock plus. (make sure you white list beyond though)

Then when the Mac software becomes obsolete convert to linux (ubuntu) forever.

My work machine constantly crashes on Beyond as well, reloads page and it's fine. I suspect it's one of the ads.

Windows 7, latest IE9. Symantec EP 11.

Only add-ons are adobe, java and shockwave.

The masses have spoken, clearly VB 2.3.9 is too old and obsolete for the new age of computing :nut:

I use Chrome, best browser available right now in my opinion. Toss in Abine's chrome block, and it's absolutely great.

I've had weird crashes in both chrome and IE9. I am starting to suspect it's a common 3rd party plug in on both browsers.

IE9, Win7. Nothing else, only crashes on Beyond.

Hmm, I have a couple Win7 systems. Chrome as primary browser on one and IE9 on the other with no addons installed on either machines. No crashes so far during testing.

Does it crash immediately? after an extended period? or completely random? Do you have to do something for it to crash (ex. click a link, play a video).

Hopefully we can track this down.

Crashes randomly on load of a page - it could be Flash. Weak ass Adobe product.

It recovers much easier in IE9 (it just restarts the tab after a few seconds), while on Chrome, it stops responding while slowing my machine to a crawl. I have to kill Chrome in the task manager.

Yeah I get it crashing on a flash plugin I think. Tablet and phone are more susceptible to it.

Yah, crashes just randomly on my work and home computer, than recovers, and sometimes crashes again right after...I think it is some adds myself, because everytime it crashes I believe in the background the large banner at the top is blank.

Crashes immediately, some times ie9 can't even recover the page... sorry the page doesn't even load so I don't even know which ad it was!
