Found a bird nest in the main floor bathroom vent with 3 little babies inside, it is causing some stinky smell in the bathroom, but if I take them out, will those babies survive? and where should I put them? What would you do?

I have the same problem with my house. All three bathroom vents have birds in them. I am going to leave the birds in there until they vacate (I assume they would probably die if I took them out from there as they look pretty young). When fall comes around i'll be installing new bathroom exhaust vents with the metal screen in them (my old ones have three plastic flaps that were ripped out by the birds fairly easily).

For now, i say leave them alone, they ll leave sooner or later. Then just have the bath exhaust vents replaced with something more bird proof!

They'll be moving out as soon they're old enough to fly.

same problem. figgured i would let them get old enough to fly, then remove the nest, and put a small wire mesh screen in to keep them from coming back

That's awesome. And good on everyone who actually lets them move out at their own pace.
