Spin-off from the other thread .... if you were going to rent a supercar for a day (or two or three or whatever), which you would rent:
f430 scud.; 500hp/395tq; 3000lb curb weight
http://www.madwhips.com/upload/images/f430_scuderia_4-568-426.jpg
or
917 replica; 950hp/900tq; 2000lb curb weight
http://media.motortopia.com/files/14755/vehicle/48c722951d112/917.jpg
Abuse, but not stupid abuse, is allowed on each model.
I'm curious if a beyond balla (ignoring the fact ballaz don't rent  ) would take a ferrari because it has the genuine ferrari pedigree behind it, or if it's pedigree be damned, I want something that nobody else has

The scud so I could cruise 17th all day to try and pick up some LGs.
Neither but 430 if I have to chose between the two.

I'd probably have to try them both to see which got more speeding tickets.

F430 hand down!
The 917 doesn't look to "oral friendly" ;)

Ferrari.
With the 917 the cops will be on your tail as it seems more as a race car than anything else...

On the road, Scud.
On the track, 917 rep.
I can't imagine driving the 917 on Calgary's roads.

Scud. hands down. Just because they've always been one of my favorite supercars.

The 917 would stand out in a very odd way on the streets.

Do any of the answers change if I change the word 'rent' to 'fractional ownership/time-share'?

But think of all the hot gold diggers you'll attract going up and down 17th in it ..... nb: there's an extra charge for having sex in it (if you can manage that even, lulz) :poosie:
I've always dreamed of roaring down a wide open Memorial drive at 200kph from Crowchild to 4th st; although I'd imagine both of these vehicles would do a proper job of waking up all the fucking hippies at 3am.

I'll take the 917(but what happens when I get the car impounded for excessive speed/reckless driving?)

Micromarring found on the exterior paint is an additional surcharge.
RE - car impound - you won't be happy with how high your credit card bill will be when you see the pre-authorized deposit taken out on it :)

The ride/thrill would make the bill worth it. Some experiences in life are priceless don't you think?:poosie:
