Hi!

I have a diploma in Industrial Instrumentation from Sait, but after relocating to Fort McMurray, I screwed up. I am back in Calgary, but with no jobs for the past three-four months.

I went to or applied to three different agencies, used two references, broadened my self, yet nothing. I used Indeed, JobBank, kijiji, and yet the responses are usually grim.

My diploma and background is in industrial instrumentation, but I can also work as a first year apprentice electrician. If you know anyone, or can help me with reference, then my email is [email protected] and my cell number is (403) 402-9025. Thank you.

I also am flexible and am willing to do any kind of jobs just to save up some money, and pay off student loans. I have customer service, and retail experience. So if you can help me, I will truly be indebted to you.

Sincerely,

Md

Devon Energy has this following posting:
DCS Specialist, Jackfish
Not sure if that fits you or not, but if it does, PM me and I'll do some more digging for you.

Thank you. I am more entry level so its harder to find jobs in the energy field or oil/gas field. I have a diploma, loans, and currently only about $300 in savings so its all the more discouraging. I am a new grad as of December 2010, so I don't have any networking whatsoever. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you! ;)

Check the ASET classifieds, SAIT boards, check out workopolis and monster (those two seem more reliable than Kijiji).

Also you are going to need to apply to more than 2 or 3 places. I think when I graduated I handed out 45 resumes at the time. I started to have to turn down offers for interviews because it was too much while in second year.

ohhh just thought about this try this one they have called me 2 times in last 2 months. And also try applying at custom I hear they are hiring

I came across your resume and was curious if you are currently still looking for work. We are recruiting electricians for a large construction project in Calgary. We are looking for 1st, 2rd, 3rd and 4th year electricians. Experience in the commercial sector is a large plus and the wage starts from $17 and up depending on relevant experience. If you or anyone you know might be interested I would love to speak with you.
