Current car: 2005 Subaru Legacy 2.5GT Limited Sedan
Current situation: done school (for now), in a starter career, looking for a car to keep for at least 4 years.

Criteria: manual, under 60000km, winter driveable, somewhat fun, newer cars.

Things I like about my Subaru: AWD, turbo, somewhat quick, nice interior, good in winter, heated seats, leather interior.

My budget is around $15000-35000 absolute max I would say.

Some suggestions as to what cars I should check out? Would be a bonus if I could tow my ATV behind it as well.

I'm alittle biased for the subaru's but dosent the Legacy fit everything that you want in a new car? Just curious, why do you want to sell?

It is almost everything, just not as sporty as I like, and I would like something with much lower km because I drive a lot and would like to keep a car for more than I have been without completely mileing it out.

maybe upgrade to sti, its sportier faster and it can possibly tow a atv seen it on youtube it towed a semi :D

or even if u want luxury sport maybe an is250 with the awd,
comfortable and yet luxurious and sporty!

I find Lexus to be terribly unsporty to be honest, I could never see myself in one of those. STi is a possibility for sure, its just a matter of finding the right car, i'm terribly picky with my vehicles nowadays.

it depends all on your taste for your description u want a somewhat fast, maybe awd for winter, newer and fun
but for the sti they lack interior, its just basic not the best compared to your legacy but for the price im sure you could find something under the 60k mark easily for around 25k and if your lookin for a hatch prob around 28-30k usually

what about the evo, interiors much nicer then the sti imo and performs if not even better then the sti

Like the Evo, not sure I can afford a half decent one. I do somewhat like the interior on the STi, just not as much as on my Legacy, but then the STi has more power, a 6 speed instead of 5, and a controllable diff.

theres a couple of evo X for around the 27-33k mark unmolested and pretty clean, did u look around??

Somewhat interested in GTi's but I know I would find a stock one boring so I would have to mod it.

Azam Deen is rebuilding a 2011 STI with 2500km that should be for sale in the next few months for a hefty discount.

What about changing to a WRX265 if the sti's are hard to come by? That is what I have been looking into lately, the 2011's are especially nice the weider sti body.

Pretty damn close. Private sale so he might take 30. Best performance bargain on the market by far currently.

Brand new 2011 GT 5.0 is $34,000 + tax. Go to ford.ca and build a 2011 model, they have huge incentives on. So if anything 32k for used is too much ;)

Like I said 412hp for 35k is hard to beat

How easy would it be to get a GTi up around 300HP?

When I was looking for my car I went to look at used cars and for the price some people asked. I went to the dealership and the same car new not a few years old was only a few grand more so for the extra price you can choose the color you like and know it has a warrenty and have that piece of mind that its going to last four years.

A $600 chip gets you 250hp and 300tq and is good for 97 mph trap in Calgary. If you want more you need a bigger turbo.

When I raced an STI he trapped 98 mph in the next lane but they can get up to 100-101 on a good night iirc.

Don't bother trying on the stock turbo, VW/Audi puts tiny ass turbos on those things. ATP makes nice upgrade kits that bolt a bigger turbo into the stock location, that's where I'd start if I wanted to make power.

Of course. GTi is very tempting.

ATP Turbo and Unitronic tune from tune dub. All said and done prly around $5000 with required mods.

Even just software makes those cars a lot of fun. Big Turbo is nice, but with a $600 tune and stock turbo it is still going to be significantly quicker then your current ride.

There's really no point in me looking unless I sell my Subaru first but I will keep it in mind.

White 2010 WRX or Grey Metallic 2010 GTI.

When you sell your car and interested in either one, let me know and I'll give you full details. My cars are always price to sell below the trader so you won't over pay. :D

WRX mileage is around 30,000kms right. Comes with stock and winter tires + a set of 18X7.5 Gramlights in gun metal grey. Stage 1 reflash by Airboy tuning.

2010 GTI fully loaded, 45,000kms. 18" wheel option with a set of 16" alloys for winter.

Or 2005 NSX lol

If you are looking for any of these cars, message me first. I'm looking to buy another property so I need to shed some of these cars. I could be driving a beater Civic for the next few years.
