The comptech exhaust became louder one day and took it to the shop to find a crack all the way through and the muffler portion of the exhaust just hanging... The shop told me this can't be welded because its stainless steel...

Can this be welded? aren't stainless exhausts welded during its manufacturing process?!...

Can anyone recommend a place in town that can weld this kind of stuff, I don't care how pretty it'll be, just don't want no rattles...

Omg. Stainless steel can't be welded. It just comes that way. You'll have to buy a complete new part.

Lol. What the stupid shop meant to say is" we are too stupid and cheap to be able to afford the proper equipment to weld stainless properly"

Hope you can get it fixed quick

that's the first thought that went through my head, they were nice enough to charge me nothing and help me just tie it down with some wire.

Stainless Steel is more difficult to weld, requires different equipment. (It's a separate ticket in the trade)
