I'm a guitar player and I'm getting bored playing with myself (wait... wat?)

Any drummers, bassist, singers, or other guitarists feel like getting together and cranking out some cover tunes?

I have a 9-5 job and family that takes up a lot of time, but i figure once or twice a month would be cool. I'm in my mid 30s, been playing for a long time. Ideally I'd like to find some like minded people. I don't care if i'm doing rhythm or lead.

I'd be nice if we all lived in the deep SW/SE. Traveling from the deep south to the far north is going to get old pretty quick.

Stuff I like: 80s-90s thrash (metallica, anthrax, megadeth, slayer, exodus, etc), glam (ratt, dokken, etc), prog, classic rock, maiden, priest, rush, queensryche, satriani, dream theater, etc... pretty much anything with a good beat and guitar.

lemme know

I'm a drummer, but in the NW. Used to play regularly and in bars. I'm always down to jam or whatever. Looking for a new band that can tolerate a shift worker
