Where can I buy a key case for my 2003 Honda Accord other than the dealership? My case is broken, the remote and key etc are intact so all I need to replace is the casing itself and will not need to have it re-keyed or re-programmed. I could buy it at the sites below but looking for anything local if any.

$14.95: http://www.carandtruckremotes.com/hondaaccordcase.html

$12.95: http://www.nycautoparts.net/servlet/Detail?no=688

$9.49: http://www.1stincity.com/en/car-parts-accessories/93-carkey057-new-uncut-blade-remote-key-case-for-honda-accord-cr-v-.html

Hahha that's fine. I called Calgary Honda, and even though I explained to the dude that the key itself is intact (key, transponder, remote), he says "I hate to tell you this but you still need to have a new key cut and programmed for a total cost of $155." The key purchase alone is $96.67 and a half hour of programming time is required. Can someone explain to me if this is right? Everything is fine in terms of key operation, just that the case opens up and sh!t is dangling. Can I simply get a new uncut key, open it up, put my cut blade in, move the transponder in and the remote in as well and call it a day?

I called this part store and the guy says while they don't carry it anymore, the dealer may not be willing to just sell you the blank keys. WTF?

I found one on eBay for $3.99. This guy is going to drive a car with a taped up ignition key for the next little while. It's worth trying it out before blindly shelling out $155, or $96.67 for that matter.

Still open to hear of other local parts places where I can get it from.
