I am getting an Auto to Manual swap on my Acura EL so I'm selling a d16y8 1.6L Vtec complete motor swap including motor, tranny, ecu, etc.
This engine comes standard on a 97-00 Acura EL and will fit on a 92-00 Honda Civic as well.
The engine is in great condition and well-maintained. It has 148 900km. The transmission was replaced new at 64 500km under warranty by Acura. I have changed oil on the engine every 5000km with synthetic oil. I get 550-600km per tank of gas.
The timing belt and water pump was replaced at 97 000km.
I had a complete tune up done to the car with all OEM parts a year and a half ago. This includes OEM Honda Distributor cap and rotor, PCV valve, fuel filter, and NGK blue Ignition wire set and NGK Iridium spark plugs.
I have all receipts available if you want.
