oil pump, location? Grand Caravan 99

I have a 99 Dodge Grand Caravan, the oil light just came up and the engine sounds like is it needs oil, which it has, so the first and most common answer is the oil pump needs to be replaced. I need to know where is located, it has the 3.3 engine V6. I'm hoping is located in the oil pan, which is easier to change, but it might be located behind the timing belt/chain, does anybody know this as a fact?. thanks.

Santo,try checking your oil pressure sending unit,dodges are known for having problems with them,but if your still looking for the oil pump,it runs off the front of the crankshaft,but thats a last resort,if your pump was gone ,there would be rattling lifters among other knocking sounds,good luck.
