RECOVERED - '01 4Runner SR5 - 4x4 - Lifted & Armoured

As stated, 2001 4Runner SR5 - 4x4 - Lifted and Armoured was stolen from my house in the SW sometime between August 17th and 21st.

Please call the Police if you see it.

That's what I am thinking.

Once I got home I completed more thorough inspection and discovered my watches, sunglasses, roommates watch, sunglasses were stolen. Looks like it was a B&E and once they found the spare key, the 4Runner was game.

Also missing is my camping gear - anything that looked good and could be tossed into the 4Runner was.

Fucking thieves.

I will definitely keep an eye out. any pictures of the watches or anything unique about them?

Not sure which came first - the B&E or targeting of the 4Runner.

Nothing too unique about my items - bunch of NEMO camping gear, Oakley watch and glasses - nothing to separate them from any others though. Finding the small stuff will be difficult, I would be happier if the 4Runner showed up.

And to keep anyone who's interested posted - no sign of the 4Runner, I'm not optimistic at this point.

Well, RCMP called and they found my rig out in Summerland BC - going to call the lot where it is at to get some pictures of it tomorrow.

Apparently it's in decent shape but the roof rack is damaged (RCMP officer was vague - obviously getting info 3rd hand).

Hmm - very tempting.

After talking with Brent @ Okanagan Towing he said it's set aside and waiting for RCMP to print it. Perhaps being released this afternoon.

If you're ambitious / don't mind, well I am certainly curious to see what it looks like. On the other hand, I don't want to be any trouble to the lot owner / RCMP.

Im working until 7, but after that I'll swing by the impound and if its still there i'll snap a couple pics. Looks like a beautiful truck, might as well check it out in person.

Haven't had mechanical yet but apparently they were just driving it around - towing a stolen boat when pulled over. Ditched the boat and then took off into an orchard. Ditched the 4Runner in the orchard.

Painted it 2 tone as to not stand out...

Glad to hear it's back but... what are you going to do about the paint? Will insurance cover costs of removing that?

Insurance should cover that... and there should also be no deductible as it was a theft.
