Cause if it says AEM it gives you more power :D

Just get a cheap no-name pipe off ebay and a k&n filter and you'll be good to go

yeah aslong as it has 3" piping than it doesnt matter. The only benifit with AEM is if you get the CAI than you can also attach a water bypass valve.

Yah but that's only if the driver is dumb enough to drive in water deep enough to submerge the intake.

If I were you I'd go Neuspeed. Check out their website and see if you want to get either the cold air intake, or the P-Flow Short Ram Intake.

Wasn't there a test in like SCC or import tuner about the best intakes. AEM came out on top with a nutty 20 hp gain or sumthin?

so if you buy a aem filter and slap it on the end of a 3" pipe you will have the same result as if you had bought the entire assembly? Give me a break! there is a reason why aem costs what it does. Their R&D teams are one of the finest in the world. try to get the power gains from a 3" pipe and a generic filter as you would with an aem assembly. oh and by the way, it's only your motor that you have to worry about if that filter ever goes. Good luck!

Yes, because of the name.

I would have to agree all around, A generic brand does almost as good a job but at the same time that extra cash you spend gets you a little more power thanks to R &D. What it comes down to in the end is how much cash you want to deal out for that extra 1-2hp gain.
