WOW that thing is disgusting. I am glad I picked up my 2011 Genesis Coupe instead of waiting for the redesign. Hopefully this ugly abomination will drive up resale value for the current gen :D

It has a 6 speed manual or 6 speed DCT option. This is based on the hyundai USA build your own site.

i think the only thing saving it would be aftermarket bumper assembly, lose the ginormous foglight housings and fish-gill like grill vents, i think it would look great with the updated headlights (just put your hand over the whole bumper of ercchry's 2nd pic there and try and love it lol

I'm sure there is a policy in place. Enforcement would be another matter. Same happened @ Ford before the new Taurus was released.

That looks sick!

I think if you modify/remove those plastic grill things, it would look even better. The headlights are just killer. Maybe even retrofit some projectors in that fog light housing.

New grill is a must. Maybe a kit for the back. Otherwise it's pretty slick.

The grille IMO doesn't look that bad but the shape of the fog light housings and the way it overly curves at the corners doesn't work with the Audi/EVO mouth. That said I was never a fan of the original Genesis coupe insect front end so I'll reserve judgement until I see one in person.

If they are using a similar approach to the Veloster that is already out, then god damn I hope those air vents on the hood are real. The ones on the Veloster are fake, so those plastic black pieces on the hood are just for show..

I like the 2010's way more. The front end on the new one is pretty hideous. And I'm a big hyundai fan.

Here's a better "rendering" of the possible new front end on the Genesis Coupe. IMO, looks like a massive improvement over the current model. Hyundai's doing some stuff that I'm starting to like, never thought I'd say that lol.

i actually like it, automakers need to fuck off with the LEDs, some of them make the car look so fuking ugly..

I really like what the Ford Edge did with accent lighting. Nice smooth line instead of the LEDs, looks much better IMO.

That new front end looks great!! The bland econo-car front end was the only gripe I had with the old Genesis coupe.

Same problem with the G35/G37 coupe. I would have bought one long ago, but the front end of those Infiniti coupes are still butt ugly!

I'll have to see it in person. The current front end needs change as it looks outdated. The insect look is pretty 90's.

:werd: It really does look good on the Ford. If it's done right I think the LED's look sweet.
