What gives these away as kits? I've seen a few around, and as they are insanely expensive I'd assume they were kits. Just wondering if there is a way to spot a real one.

Easy.

A real one isn't going to have a bunch of aftermarket crap (like the ugly rims) all over it.

The fact they are super rare for one... Odds are any you have ever seen have been a reproduction or an incomplete car with replacement parts everywhere.

Real ones are *exceptionally* expensive. 9.9 times out of 10 if you see one of these, it is a kit.

still so gorgeous as a kit. I'd love to have something like this at any point in my life.
