I've decided to ower the 240 with some springs. Which brand would you reccomend? I did a search and found that Eibach sportline and Intrax make good springs for the 240. Ideas? Suggestions? personal feelings? etc?

A lot of people use the sportline springs with kyb agx. After reading Nissan forums, people seem to be pretty happy with this setup. Anyone have any experience with the Tein springs on 240's?

I personally would go for eibachs. Don't have any experience with 240s but for us german cars they are excellent. I had a set of intraxx coilovers for my jetta and they started leaking after less than a year. No warrenty because apparently wear and tear (after 5000 kms????). But if just springs they may be okay. I am personally tainted by the experinece so would definately go with eibach.

I have Intrax springs on the Benzo and I think they are good...might get new ones though....they are losing their stiffness (they are at least 5 yrs old on the car)

I will use some Japanese brand springs for your 240.

I'd say the Eiback are better, especially the pro-kit. I've sold many of the pro kit, the Sportlines and the Intrax. They all have good ride and stiffness. But the eibach seem to put up with abuse much better. The Intrax are less money so you get what you pay for. My store-partner swears by Intax though.

He uses INtrax and KYB on his Mazda's

I've ridden in an Intrax-equipped Prelude, and the ride was terrible, even with brand new struts.

I definately thought that Intrax was a low end spring manufacturer. Go with Eibach. Tested and reliable.

intrax = garbage, eibach makes great springs i would definately use them over the intrax.

the only thing good about intrax is they tend to have lower drops than other manufacturers, but the rates suck and the springs suck. i know from experience....

best all around i'd have to say is H&R. they are awesome quality, cheap, and are great for ff cars like civics(a little higher in the back, and the spring rate is a bit stiffer in the rear and a bit softer in the front compared to other lowering springs).
i've had sports and i'd have to say that they are awesome.
i agree with intrax sucking. i have a set and they ride like ass. WAAYYY TOO STIFF.

I'd have to agree with most of you on here. I'd go with Eibach if you were picking from the two. I had Intrax on my old Mitsu Gallant. They sagged quite a bit and were pretty much garbage after a couple of years.

intrax is shit. Eibach's are really good quality. Tein, haven't heard anything bad about them.

I recommend kg/mm for the 240 - one of the best lowering springs made for that car.

kg/mm? That's one I've never heard of before. What's that and where to get em?
