Depends what you mean by "better"

I looked on Canadian Black Book and the value it spit out is $15k to $16.5k for trade in so there should be a little wiggle room on the price in my opinion.

By the way when I put this into CBB it said this was a base Acura CSX not a loaded one. Did they not come with cloth seats in 2009?

Better bang for my buck basically. Do I get "more" in another car similar to a CSX at a similar price?

1) What do we value this car at?
2) Is there something else for similar price at a better 'value'

What are the other ones selling for?

I think the listing price is about right, but I would try and haggle down to $18000-19000 myself.

If you want a car that will give you more bang for your buck its going to be older.. or korean.

I'd say its fair around $17,500 I personally wouldn't pay more than that for it.

18,500 seems fair considering mileage, condition and two sets of wheels

When haggling, take the asking price and subtract 20%.

$20,900 - 20% = $16,720.

Start there.

I owned a 2007 CSX and I'd say that thats a pretty fair price. 19,000 would be better but still.

They are good cars. I highly recommend them.

I don't know what the most basic CSX comes with, but I thought most of the stuff is standard aside from the tint, winter tires, and possibly the 3m.
If you do get it I got an extra set of rear mud flaps I could sell you if you are interested :D

In the first 2 pics you can see the CSX has front mud flaps but not the rear ;)

I think this is a pretty good deal. Car looks like it's in good shape and is low-ish mileage for the year. $19,000 at least, and closer to $18,000 without the wheels.

^ That would be a better price for this car.

Just found out that having front windows tinted is illegal and these are lol. Is this still illegal if it is a factory tint? What should I do about this..

I paid $15,8XX for my 2010 Civic LX-S with 10,000km on it and warranty until almost 2016. As-new showroom condition in every way. No way would I pay $20,000 for the Acura-badged civic that was a year older with double the KM - that's just me, though. For $20k you can get a 2007 Acura TSX, newer Honda Accord, or even a good used sample of an Infinity G35.

I looked at lots of CSX's in my search, and they were all overpriced IMO. Also, I wouldn't want an automatic transmission in a car with no torque. I just didn't think the CSX was worth the premium. The civics are still very well equipped, with sunroof, 4wheel abs, alloy wheels, power necessities, decent stereo, etc. Lots of little things too, like outside temperature guage, USB & AUX inputs. The CSX mostly adds things I wouldn't use, and that add weight along with more to go wrong.

I also hate the 2.0L, and it's the reason I didn't buy a Civic Si (I assume the motor is the same as the 2.0L in the CSX). You need to absolutely drive the bag off the car to get it to move. At least with the regular civic motor, the torque peak arrives much earlier, making stoplight-to-stoplight driving far more pleasant (IMO) which is what you do 90% of the time.

As mentioned above, I would agree that maybe $17,500 would be a better price. All just my opinion of course, but that's what I did when I was exactly in your position with exactly the same budget. At $20k, there are so many options that are double the car of a CSX.

You just figured that out? It's been illegal for a while. That is not factory tint. Alot of people do it anyways and just roll down their windows if they see cops. That or you'll probably suffer a ticket every now and then. I don't think its worth it so just my rear windows are tinted. You can always pay to have it removed.

Price seems abit on the high side IMO.
